Golf In Central Portugal

Coimbra’s newest attraction opened this week. For the golfers among you, I am aware that some of you have been looking forward to this since we first announced in the Hey Portugal Summer magazine.

The owner Cristovão has been working on this project for months and finally all his hard work has paid off.

Nineteen Hole is a bar which is offering “Indoor Golf”. This is a new concept on the Ibe­rian Peninsula and Cristovão believes his company is the first to install the “Full Swing Sim­ulator” in Portugal.

This simulator is used in most countries as “FIELD” training for Amateur and Pro­fessional Golf because besides being possible to play with your own Set of Golf Clubs and normal balls, has 65 of the best courses in the world, most of the PGA Tour. Cristovão intends to make full use of this facility by organizing compe­titions and events in his newly opened bar.

Nineteen Hole also boasts a shop and is also a stockist of Taylor-Made so if you need to stock up on any Golfing Goodies , you can browse as you play.
