RightMove (the UK property portal) have reported this week, an increase in property searches in Portugal of over 14% on the previous month, and it is now their 4th most searched for overseas location. It seems that savvy investors are looking at Portugal now with the potential for growth, and finding bargains that can be had in central Portugal.
Despite what the overall reports in European media are still saying about doom and gloom in Portugal,
everywhere you go you can see new buildings going up, both domestic and commercial. The IC3 and IC9 Trunk roads that will connect up the Pinhal Interior (interior of central Portugal) are forging ahead.
There are new Golf course developments on the Silver Coast and around Tomar and Ferreira de Zezere area.
Portugal’s future has to be in Tourism and the infrastructure is being put in place to support it. If you want a bit of central Portugal then start looking as bargains are being snapped up.
